Well, my weekend has been quite, shall we say… interesting! The Butler did manage to help me get settled into my room. I do have to say the dinner he made for me was magnificent! I have never tasted a better grilled cheese sandwich in my life! I sat quietly at the kitchen table, drinking a cup of coffee and enjoying the view…oh my, the view was amazing J
After dinner, the Butler and I went to the wine cellar.
Keira wasn’t kidding about it being well stocked! Good lord, but she does have supreme taste and she does love her wines. After taking the Butlers suggestion on a bottle we went back upstairs, where I instructed him to please start a fire in the library’s fireplace and have a glass waiting for me upon my return… ahhh, I love good help J
As I climbed the stairs heading to my room to change into something more comfortable, I wondered who the other guest was. I hadn’t seen nor heard anybody, other than the Butler. When I reached the second floor and started down the hallway, I noticed a faint sliver of light, escaping from the room across from mine. Apparently, the other guest had arrived, must have been while I was eating that delightful grilled cheese.
Quietly, I walked over to the door where the light was coming from, thinking maybe I could just sneak a little peek and see who it was. Oh, my, WOW!
Someone had just taken a shower! And I knew who it was! Oh that Keira does love me!
I knocked on the large wooden door, figuring I might as well introduce myself and ask him if he’d like to join me for a glass of wine J
My offer was accepted. I hurried to my room to change, deciding my pink-fuzzy-comfy jammies would no longer due. Better scratch the floppy eared bunny slippers too. Damn. I decided on some silky black lounge pants and a red silk T-shirt. Hey, don’t judge me, I really am all about comfort on my weekends, LOL.
Once I combed my hair and freshened up my make up, I went to find the library.
The Butler was there…
…and so was the other guest, Damon
Ahh yes, this is going to be a wonderful week J
“Butler sweetie, do you know where Keira keeps her cheesecake?”
